![]() We must be willing to give everything to Jesus and trust HIM who is absolutely trustworthy. He was placed at the template gate (the Beautiful Gate) every day so he could beg for money from those going into the temple courts. A man, lame from birth, was being carried up. They explain that the man has been healed through. Peter heals a lame beggar at the Temple (Acts 3:1 3:10) At three o’clock in the afternoon, Peter and John were going to the temple at prayer time. What we can learn from Peter, John, and the lame man is that sometimes in our prayers we ask from something little, when God has something much bigger and better in mind for us. Acts 3:1-26 Peter and John heal a crippled man at the Beautiful Gate in the Temple courts (see Map 12). What Peter gave, what GOD gave, was something that was BEST! After being healed, the crippled man could walk, get food, work, and do everything any other person could do. The bible says that strength came immediately to his feet! In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and WALK!” And Peter grabbed the hand of the lame man and pulled him to his feet. Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I will give to you. Imagine how disappointed he probably felt. How disappointing for the crippled man since he needed money so he could eat. Peter said that he had no silver or gold. What does God want to do for us? Give us something better? Or give us His best? (Give us His best) ![]() ![]() The crippled man saw Peter and John and asked for money. At the same time, a crippled man was being carried by some people and placed at his normal spot to beg for money. After the day of Pentecost, Peter and John went to the temple to pray.
